Good Times

My grandma made this very soft rug for me.
We have a green rug that I've kept in the classroom for quite awhile now that my kids love to play with. Since I received this beautiful warm gray rug from my grandma for Christmas, I have kept it behind my desk at school. I took it out to lay on it while I did an online college class Monday evening and forgot to pick it back up. The next morning my students came into the class and exclaimed how beautiful this new rug was, Before I could even respond to tell them it was my special rug, they were feeling it with their hands and then their faces. Within about ten seconds I had two boys pretend to curl up and sleep on it. Then a third joined. I just had to smile because I think they were able to sense why I love the thick cozy rug so much (but they'd love it much more if they knew how awesome the lady is who's hands made it, Grandma!).
Three cuddle-bugs laying on my grandma's rug.

While I was taking these pictures off photobooth, it prompted me to look through old photos taken way at the beginning of last school year.
My tonsils have not had the best luck. Right now they are very swollen, too.

Oh, the fun you can have with googly eyes. Agnes, our Elder.

It was fun to see what they couldn't!

St. Patrick's day foamy fun.

A quick charcoal sketch of Nora, an Elder from Emmonak.

A treat from my mother-- Sunday Comics! The very first exposure.
